Brand Communications Intern

Reports to: Marketing Manager

 

As a Brand Communications Intern, you will play a key role in supporting various tasks related to brand communication and content creation. This dynamic position involves working closely with the team to ensure the successful execution of content shoots, coordinating with stores and other team members, and actively contributing to the creation of engaging social media content.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creative Writing & Content Creation
    • Write engaging, on-brand copy for social media captions, stories, and video scripts.
    • Contribute to creative concepts for campaigns and storytelling pieces.
    • Ensure all written content reflects the brand voice and resonates with the target audience.
  • Content Shoot Assistance:
    • Assist in grocery shopping for content shoots.
    • Contribute to content ideation sessions.
    • Help set up shoots and ensure all necessary equipment and props are in place.
    • Actively participate in filming content alongside the team.
  • Project Management:
    • Help organize timelines, deliverables, and milestones for brand communication initiatives to ensure projects stay on track.
    • Work closely with marketing, creative, and store teams to gather inputs, provide updates, and maintain alignment on campaign execution.
  • Analytics:
    • Collaborate in pulling data from YouTube and TikTok analytics.
    • Compile and organize data for weekly meetings to track performance.
    • Provide insights and suggestions based on analytics to enhance content strategy.
  • Additional Duties as Assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate program.
  • Strong interest in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of content creation tools and platforms.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of analytics and data interpretation.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for brand communication.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Openness to constructive feedback and a desire to continuously improve.
  • Support monitoring and commenting, as needed, on social channels.
  • Regular, timely attendance in compliance with work schedule.
